Dignitas Infinita on Human Dignity: Every human person possesses an infinite dignity, inalienably grounded in his or her very being, which prevails in and beyond every circumstance, state, or situation the person may ever encounter. This principle, which is fully recognizable even by reason alone, underlies the primacy of the human person and the protection of human rights. In the light of Revelation, the Church resolutely reiterates and confirms the ontological dignity of the human person, created in the image and likeness of God and redeemed in Jesus Christ. From this truth, the Church draws the reasons for her commitment to the weak and those less endowed with power, always insisting on “the primacy of the human person and the defense of his or her dignity beyond every circumstance.”

Vatican calls for proactive defense of human dignity in digital realm: A declaration published by the Vatican includes a section on how "digital violence" threatens human dignity.

Valuing All Human Life Activities are provided by Young Christian Workers (YCW) and Impact! on how to improve the lives of people. It explains that this improvement should be seen by society based on the principle that the dignity of each person is the basis for a just society. Young Christian Workers (YCW) and Impact! train young Christian leaders for life and use its See, Judge, Act method to help young people link life and faith and to grow in confidence and responsibility to transform the world. Young Christian Workers/Impact!

Before They Were Famous (Human Dignity, Sin, and Mercy) The way we respond to others has everything to do with recognizing the presence of Jesus within them. That begins by recognizing every human being’s dignity. Think about someone you know or know of who is a very dignified person. Chances are, when you refer to someone as being very dignified, it means that you see that person as someone who acts with honor and distinction—someone who acts as one with status that is worthy of respect. Human dignity is at the very heart of Catholic morality

Life and Dignity of the Human Person-Country Spotlight: Vietnam  Lesson Plan for grades 1-8- CRS’ programming overseas upholds the Catholic social teaching principle Life and Dignity of the Human Person. In Vietnam, disabilities can carry stigma and
children with disabilities are often ostracized—in some cases, by their own families. Schools often lack the resources to serve students with disabilities. CRS support parents and teachers to ensure children with disabilities achieve their potential.  Catholic Relief Services

USCCB-Protecting Human Dignity-The Ten Commandments The Catechism of the Catholic Church explores the Ten Commandments, linking them to the Church's contemporary emphasis on human dignity and human rights. It is a prime example of how the "living tradition" of the Church, guided by the Holy Spirit, anchors its teaching in the Scriptures but remains open to the complex realities of modern human society. This article will explore the link between the Ten Commandments and protecting human dignity today.

Life and Dignity of the Human Person The Catholic Church  proclaims that human life is sacred and that the dignity of the human person is  the foundation of a moral vision for society.

TASK 3-FORMING FOR LIFE IN CHRIST -  Recognize the dignity of all the children of God, follow the Lord as exemplified in the Beatitudes, and form a moral conscience through Christ's teachings and the Ten Commandments, as a way to fulfill our Christian vocation in society.

The Essential Concepts come from the Table of Contents for the Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC). They have been re-organized to fit under the Six Tasks of Catechesis. CCC articles numbers associated with each Essential Concept are listed throughout this document. Referencing CCC article numbers is a recommended resource for catechist preparation.
